Other Elements

At Blessed Life Fellowship we strive for a Spirit-led meeting of the church. All that means is that we want to make room for the Holy Spirit to have His way and direct the course of the service, and not religiously stick to a “program.”

Now, that doesn't mean we don't like to plan things.  We do.  Our services are pretty organized and predictable, and we don't try to manufacture "supernatural" experiences by working people into a lather.  We welcome whatever divine interruptions to our plan that the Holy Spirit might direct, but we don't try to manufacture those things. 

Once in a while we will wait quietly as we listen for the Holy Spirit to speak through a willing person to bring a word of encouragement, exhortation, or instruction. We believe that every Christian has within them the ability to hear from the Holy Spirit and communicate on His behalf, and we encourage this practice from time to time.  But most of the time we stick to the sharing of testimonies of God’s goodness and activity in people’s lives. It is amazing that even as young as we are, there have already been numerous testimonies of healings, deliverances, and answered prayer, and we enjoy celebrating those victories together by sharing those experiences during the services.
